NEW DELHI: A housekeeping worker from the staff of the Sant Nirankari Public School at Malviya Nagar allegedly raped a six-year-old girl inside the washroom of school. The accused who is 22-year-old man was a sweeper in the school. He is a resident of Delhi’s Dakshinpuri. When the girl entered into the washroom, she needed some help. When she called for help accused entered the washroom instead of woman staff and he sexually assaulted the girl, the police said.
The girl was frightened after all this. She didn’t inform her teachers or school staff, she went back home. When her parents analyzed, she told them each and everything happened with her. Her parents quickly called the school authorities who informed the police.
A case was filed under Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) and other sections. Shameless events in Delhi are rising day by day as last month a seven-year-old boy was murdered by a bus conductor of Gurugram’s Ryan International School. Also, a five-year-old girl was raped by the peon of the school. Delhi Police commissioner Amulya Patnaik ordered all district Deputy Commissioners to secure the schools by increasing the safety measures in every school.
