Built by Feroz-e-shah Tughlaq as an inn or a hunting lodge for the royal parties. Bhuli Bhatiyari Mahal in Delhi has a sign outside the structure, which prohibits people from entering the premises after sunset. The road on the side of Bagga link at Karol Bagh leads you towards the deserted palace. From here you will reach such a place, where no one dares to go in the night! Delhi Police starts putting barricades at the time of sunset on the road leading to this palace.
The palace of Bhuli Bhatiyari in Delhi lies deserted as no govt guard could come near this place. The design and architecture is in complete ruins now. But, the ruins are still a symbol of the grandeur of those days. It is all because of the given huge arch and twin gateways on almost all sides. The huge gate symbolizes to be the entrance gate. Under the observation of the Archeological Survey of India, the Delhi’s Bhuli Bhatiyari Mahal is also a heritage site.

The story behind the name Bhuli Bhatiyari Mahal in Delhi is that there was a lady who came to this place wandering in search of something. Bhatiyarin (a tribal lady from Rajasthan), who forgot her way and ended up here by breathing her last here.
