Ambedkar university Delhi (AUD) was formerly known by the name of Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University is a state university established by the government of Delhi. It was established in 2008 and is considered a very popular option among Delhiites since then.
Ambedkar university Delhi (AUD) has the objective of promoting excellence in higher education with focus on social sciences and humanities. They aim to promote learning with understanding. The campus has technology enabled AC classrooms, library, computer labs, student activity areas, playgrounds and cafeteria. Wi-Fi connectivity is available throughout the campus. Good infrastructure in terms of well-stocked libraries can be seen. These well stocked libraries involve reading rooms, online journals and computer labs. Girl students have student hostel facility available for them.
Reservation quota:
- 85 per cent of seats for students of Delhi
- 15 percent of seats for outstation students
The university has a quota for talented candidates in the area of sports, theatre, dance, music, fine arts, debating and creative writing.

- AUD are planning to establish other campuses at Dheerpur (Near Model Town and Mukherjee Nagar) and Rohini (Sector 3).
Right now only limited amount of programs are launched in the karampura campus. More undergraduate and postgraduate programmes will be launched soon.
