MCD released a report on Monday, addressing the cases of dengue, Chikungunya and Malaria in the capital city. According to the reports there are more than 2000 people who are suffering from dengue.
485 new cases of dengue are highlighted after the MCD report, and the total number of cases had reached near 2215. Out of which 1177 cases are from the Delhi and the remaining 1038 belongs to different areas. However, the positive aspect is that there are no deaths reported due to dengue from the last week. Meanwhile the number of cases due to malaria has also increased to 869, out of which 283 cases are from Delhi. In addition, there are 157 new cases reported after the report given by MCD. According to MCD, 1,57,552 houses are found to have larvae of Aedes mosquitoes breeding rapidly. For which 1,30,318 legal notices have been issued. Apart from this, 21,745 petitions have been filed against the repeated breeding.
