Recently, a new case of robbery is spotted in Bikaner area of North Delhi, on Sunday evening. 3 bike riders looted 17.50 lakh from the garment trader at gunpoint. The incident took place at the Timarpur flyover. On the complaint of the victim businessman Vijay Mehra, the Timarpur police had registered a case.
According to police, a 45-year-old victim, Vijay Mehra, who lives in the Vasant Vihar is currently running a business of clothes in Gandhi Nagar. He uses private cab to go home every day. Police is trying to identify the robber with the help of CCTV footage. On Sunday evening he was returning home in a cab, when he reached the Timarpur flyover, one bike overtaken the cab abruptly and they had to stop. The robbers looted a bag full of money by pointing a pistol. There were 17.50 lakh rupees in the bag. The victim gave the information to the police. Vijay said in the complaint that on Sunday he had received the payment of the goods.
