Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash on Sunday had refused to accept files from CM Arvind Kejriwal’s which was related to budget speech.
- On the contrary Arvind Kejriwal accused Prakash for refusing the files while stating, “It is very shocking that a few days ahead of the Delhi Budget and the CS is refusing to accept important files that has comments of the Chief Minister associated with preparation of the annual Budget speech,” Kejriwal said.
- It is later came into light that the files were affiliated to fix accountability in setting up of Polyclinics and Mohalla, and to consider them as key health priority sectors of the Delhi government.
But a senior officer of the Joint Forum, said there was no official communication from the CM’s office and even no files were sent to the Chief Secretary on Sunday. Further it was said that time when the files were being sent, CS Prakash was not present at home being a Sunday holiday.
Whereas, it was said that “when the files were sent in the morning, it was advised by the Prakash’s residence that today being Sunday, these files should be sent during office hours only i.e., on Monday in the Chief Secretary’s office,” statement stated.
One of the official of the forum claimed “Besides, the Chief Secretary has instructed his staff of residence not to take any package in his absence. So, for that matter, government’s allegation amounts to harassment of the chief secretary”.
