There is an event in Delhi which is going to be very useful in terms of hygiene. In the highlighted case a bollywood movie “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha” has given very clean and hygienic messages to the society, will be shown in the government hospitals. Central Government has decided to show this film in the hospitals on October 2 as it’s the 3rd Anniversary of the Sanitation Day. The Union Health Ministry has issued instructions to show this film in all the government hospitals across the country focusing on the ‘Sanitation Service’ campaign.
The main motive is to encourage people of rural areas to build toilets in their houses and to keep the surroundings clean and hygienic. The Central Health Ministry along with the Family Welfare Ministry has sent a letter to the State Governments along with the Central Government hospitals regarding this campaign. Health Ministry has released a list of 20 major government hospitals of the Central Government with the order of cleanliness in the hospitals. Apart from this, they decided to aware the backward people about cleanliness and will distribute paper soaps to them. Bollywood Star Akshay kumar tried to spread awareness about the fact that there are still many places in India where people consider toilet as a curse. In the film, the women of the village had been shown using fields for sanitation purposes at dawn. After reading the script of this movie, he tried to improve this situation in India.
