There are always various events in Delhi organized by Delhi government to increase the comfort of college students. Recently, the Delhi government has issued a proposal due to which college going students would be able to apply for learning driving license in their colleges and technical training institutions. Now students won’t have to rush to the authority office for getting their learning driving license.
Transport Minister of Delhi Kailash Gahlot said that for the above mentioned purpose a meeting will be held on Wednesday. How many colleges and institutes can collaborate with this project will be discussed in this meeting. The Delhi government wants colleges to participate in this project as much as possible, so that students can easily get their learning driving license. Also, the department has already developed software for this purpose.
The transport department prepared a proposal in which directors and principals of colleges will be given power to conduct online tests for learning driving license in colleges.Students who pass the test will get their learning license. These days almost every college has a computer lab and experts to handle the systems. Those experts will be given a brief introduction of the software developed by the transport department.
A few years ago this experiment was also done in Daulat Ram College of the Delhi University. Officials from the transport department went to college for one day and provided the facility of giving an online test for learning driving license. Even at that time 400 students got their license in just one day.Just imagine how it would look like, when every facility will be available in your schools and colleges. You would be soon saying that “I study in a best school in Delhi”.
