“Either Cooperate or die 9 years before, pollution will be at stake now”
A “Grading Response System” will be implemented due to which garbage burning and pollution emitting will be prohibited during 15 October to 15 march. The use of wood and coal will also be banned in hotels and restaurants. One could be charged with a payable fine for violating the rules.
The Environment pollution control authority held a meeting in the presence of its members from Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan at the Indian Habitat Centre where it regulated the Grading Response System. This meeting concluded the checkups at regular interval and decision of creating various patrolling teams in the states was made. Chairman of EPCA had clarified that pollution should not exceed its current level in winters. All the brick furnaces will remain closed in the decided time period starting from 15 October till 15 March.
