NEW DELHI: Another incident of a major fire took place in the capital, two workers of a jeans manufacturing unit died after conflagration spread across building in Kailash Nagar area in east Delhi on Sunday night.
Fire department officials informed that, at 11pm they were told about the incident and they reached at the location immediately, fire was brought under control within 2 hours. Two bodies were recovered from the building, the victims have been identified as Fezan (22) and Shahmat (30).
Six people who were living on the third floor managed ot escape after they climbed to their neighbour’s house using a ladder. DCP Nupur Prasad said that the case has been registered under relevant IPC sections for further investigation.
