Now-a-days rash driving is rising in most of the places near Delhi. Some people don’t realize the value of life and how important life is. We need to be attentive to stay safe all the time. According to a latest report released by the Union road transport and highways ministry it is proved in India that 17 deaths and 55 road accidents occur every hour in 2017. However, the number of road accidents declined from 501,000 lakh in 2015 to 480,652 lakh in 2016 and the total number of accidents in 2017 is yet to be calculated.
Recently, a class 12th student Priya Shukla died in a road accident. She was returning with her friends from a birthday celebration. Due to over speeding on the wrong side, her car rammed two other cars and a divider before flipping over and she lost her life on the spot, the police said. The accident took place in north Delhi’s Sarai Rohilla. Dev, whose birthday was celebrated, is critically wounded and currently he is admitted in hospital. The puzzle of who was driving the car is yet to be solved. Others two persons who were in the car fled from the spot, the police said.
A couple, Mustafa and Handed Khatoon, and their five-year-old grandson, were travelling in the tempo which got smashed with priya’s car. They were also badly injured, the police said. Police is also investigating whether the driver was drunk or not.
