Reshma aka Dipti was a resident of Kalka ji in South-East Delhi who committed suicide on Tuesday. She was in a live-in relationship. Her boyfriend Neeraj informed the police about this awful incident at 5:40 am on Tuesday.
The case is registered at the Kalkaji police station. DCP Romil Baniya said that Police rushed to their house immediately after the call and found Neeraj along with his girlfriend’s dead body hanging on the ceiling fan. While searching for the necessary clues on the spot of death, the police acquired a suicide note in which she mentioned her boyfriend to be responsible for her death as he tortured her extremely and forced her into prostitution.
The victim girl wrote everything in the suicide note that how she was pissed off with her life. She was being treated as a prostitute and after being in such miserable conditions she couldn’t even return back to her home. The only reason she found to escape from the situation was committing suicide.
Kalkaji is one of the poshest places near Delhi. There are ornate houses which can be easily compared with popular and lavish resorts near Delhi. Anyway, holy days of the Goddess Durga are going on and Kalkaji is one of the holy places to visit in Delhi as there is a huge temple which has surplus devotees present all the time to worship for the well being of their families and loved ones. Maybe her parents also did the same for her. However, there weren’t aware that she was trapped into prostitution which made her kill herself.
