Away from the hustle bustle of capital lies a place that has a charm, of its own. Where people feel charged and their heart is intoxicated by the beauty of everything that is present around. This place is Guruji Bade Mandir located in Chattarpur. GURUJI, in his mortal avatar as Nirmal singh ji maharaj was born at Dugri in Punjab as a loving son of MATA SURJEET KAUR JI AND PITA MAST RAM JI. It is said that since childhood he had supernaturals powers and his classmates often witnessed that he would fill empty ink pens by just touching them with the fingers.
With passing years his parents realized that he was not an ordinary human being but Babaji possess godlike qualities. The whole construction of his dome was a complicated task which was foreseen by the Guruji himself.
Dome was constructed as per the instructions of the Guruji in the shape of shiv linga which was possible only if the construction was supported with a concrete base but Guruji had a desire for keeping a hollow base. Although the construction seemed difficult to the architects. After resisting few times they started executing the construction. The lower part of linga was an easy task but the circular top needed a support. Due to the lack of a rigid support, the part developed a crack. Disappointed, they turned again and the same thing happened this time as well. When Guruji got to know about it he asked them to try one more time and this time he decided to himself provide the support to the upper part of the linga and miraculously the construction completed without any hindrance or crack. The unique structure of the dome was beyond the imagination of the architects but the greatness of Baba Bade Mandir.
It is said that even the soil of Guruji Bade Mandir is miraculous. There is myriad of evidences to prove the preternatural elements here. The history and origin of Guruji Bade Mandir and its surroundings made it unambiguous that the place has been favored by Lord Shiva. The growth of the plants and trees is exceptional here due to the presence of Guruji’s blessings . It is said that once a lady planted a few of the plants at the temple which she had bought for her farmhouse. To her amazement, the same variety of plants bloomed and had grown twice the size as compared with those planted at her farm-house.
Another man had a similar experience. He planted a lemon tree at his home, but it failed to bear fruit. He waited for two seasons but ended up in disappointment. He then decided to replace the tree planted the barren tree at the mandir for decorative purpose. Approximately one week later the pant , was sprouting with buds. And within a couple of weeks, it was laden with lemons. It was observed that the lemons that the tree bore were seedless when they were plucked to be used, and it was a moment of ecstasy for Guruji’s followers.
Many people have said that one should at least visit the Sangat in Guruji Bade Mandir ones in their lifetime to seek genuine repentance for the ill deeds. One will feel the peace and would experience the beauty of life. The Sangats at bade mandir will teach you one or two virtues for the day.
