Anshu Prakash’s medical examination that took place on Tuesday, has confirmed that Prakash was a victim of physical assault by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislators at chief minister’s residence.
The report mentions injuries on his face and elsewhere with swelling and cut marks on Prakash’s face. However, AAP has asked for the reason of 20-hour delay to go for check up
Saurabh Bhardwaj, the Spokesperson of AAP’s Delhi unit called Prakash’s allegation of assault as senseless because of his “delay” in registering the FIR with the Police department and going for the medical examination. “The credibility of the medical report is in question because Prakash went to the hospital for a medical check-up somewhere around 9pm on Tuesday night while he is claiming that the assault took place around 12am on Monday,” he said. But this was question was not much emphasized and dismissed.
Further, in medical reports it was observed that there is meek swelling behind both his ears and some swelling over the right cheekbone part and a bruise on the lower lip too. Prakash’s examination was done by the doctors of Aruna Asaf Ali Hospital in Civil Lines. The doctors also stated that Prakash’s blood pressure was high at the time of checking, it was 170/100 mmHg, whereas a normal rate is 130/80 mmHg.
For the injuries and wounds, he was advised to take two painkillers and was suggested to apply an ice pack to injured areas.
On the other hand, AAP was claiming that it was only few heated argumentation in an urgent meeting held on Tuesday night, but no as such physical assault took place at Kejriwal’s residence.
