Class 7th student from a well-known school in Gurugram has threatened to rape his teacher and her daughter. The daughter studies in the same class with him. The incident happened in an online post.
In another incident, one of a student from Class 8th of the same school sent a mail to a teacher, asking her out for a candlelight date and sex.
Both the cases are from last week. The teacher who was threatened with rape has returned to school, but the daughter is still scared and traumatized. This is the reason that she is not coming to the school. Her education has been put on hold and she has reportedly been suffering from severe mental distress because of the severely disturbing incident.
“The school adopts zero-tolerance policy for such acts done by the students. In this case, the accused student has made a cyber prank, which is very unacceptable. The matter has been thoroughly investigated and strict action was being taken. The student accused has been suspended. It is even made sure that the child receives the required counseling.” said the school officials.
This incident has created an ambiance of anger and agitation in teachers. Parents are also concerned about middle class aged children and the teachers on this move. This case has raised questions on the misuse of Internet and social media.
