Radharaman Childrens Park, which is located in Malviya Nagar, is under the terror of a Python snake. One month back the councilor of society has filed a complaint regarding this snake but no one has taken any action towards this. This park was constructed only for the children’s playing purpose.
Everyday large number of kids used to play in this park. The Python was seen for the first time on 19 august. The councilor had informed the corporation officials. The officials have forwarded the whole incident to the wildlife society, but there was no response from the wildlife society.
In the Committee Meeting, Vice Chairman and Malviya Nagar’s Councilor Dr. Nandini Sharma urged the corporation’s Commissioner Puneet Goyal and committee Chairman Bhupendra Gupta to take action in this regard. Nandini Sharma said that due to python’s presence in park from long time, residents are very much scared.
Three days back some people of the colony has seen the python again in the park, due to which they are very much more scared now. This snake is of “Saed Boas” specie. The authorities said that, there will be no risk from this snake specie. The snake’s burrow has been filled with sand. And in this regard, we tried to contact the officials of the forest department; however, they could not be reached.
