NEW DELHI: A journalist was shot by two unidentified gunmen inside his home in Delhi NCR on Sunday evening. Reports revealed that the mugger arrived on bikes and forced their way into his home, shooting him in the stomach and right hand.
- Anuj Chaudhary is a journalist with Sahara Samay, a Hindi news channel. He is currently being treated in a hospital and is out of danger and in stable health. The preliminary investigation suggests personal enmity was the reason behind the attack. But there are other possible angles also which include that Mr. Chaudhary is the husband of a BSP councilor.
But the focus remains personal grudges. Senior superintendent of police Vaibhav Krishna told that “The firing incident occurred due to old enmity.”
Mr. Chaudhary had just returned home after a visit to Razapur village when the gunmen, wearing helmets, barged into his home and attacked him.
The good news is that “The family members have identified the assailants. Four teams have been constituted by the police to track down the attackers.
