After the murder of innocent student Pradhyumn Thakur of Ryan International School, Gurugram, the government of India is checking the security system of every school in the country.
Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia has arranged a conference meeting with the management of all private and government schools. Manish Sisodia said that after this incident in Gurugram, everyone is worried about their children and they are trying that this kind of incident may not take place in the near future. He also stated that earlier also there was such kind of incident that took place in Ryan International School, and he demanded for Central Bureau of Investigation to investigate the matter, but these private schools have their links with political leaders, so that’s why no action could be taken. He further added “CCTV cameras were also not in the proper working condition”.
The government has decided that both private and government schools have three weeks for police verification of every employee working over there and if they don’t do so; a strict action will be taken towards them. Every school has to give all the information about their staff in the police station in one week. All the information of staff has to be uploaded on directorate portal so that they can know which people are working and which are not. Every school should have CCTV cameras in every classroom and the principal of the school has to give the report of CCTV cameras whether they are working or not to the police every month.
