An old woman of 44, allegedly poisoned her husband to death as she was fed up from his excess drinking habit, stated Delhi police on 4th March, Sunday.
- The husband named DS Murti, a 54-year-old man was killed by her wife in the incident, reported near the Mandir Marg area in New Delhi, Police informed.
- Murti was a finance manager with a Realtor. He apparently died at RML Hospital, New Delhi.
- For attempting this act his wife the accused named KV Rama and her supporter Shyam Singh alias Bhagatji were been arrested, DCP Madhur Verma said.
Shyam Singh was a tantrik and had allegedly provided her with the poison, the incharge officer of this incident said.
KV Rama had even told the police that she was very upset, disturbed from last few years and wasn’t happy in her marriage because of her husband’s bad drinking habit. She even stated to the police on the spot of incidence that his drinking habit had also led into debt of Rs 10 to 12 lakh on the family.
DCP said, that Murti’s brother Siva Sarma had lodged this complaint in the regard of this situation.
